"I have been a gymnast for over 11 years, and I have grown to love the sport through competing in national and international tournaments. Rhythmic gymnastics is an elegant sport characterized by nuances of artistry, flexibility, and dance. As a coach, I strive to help my gymnasts explore these many facets of rhythmic gymnastics and foster the same fascination I have for this exciting sport. I am dedicated to helping kids reach their full potential while making incredible memories and learning valuable life lessons along the way."
Coach NCCP Level 1
Former National Level gymnast
“What I love about the sport is how dynamic and musical it is, and the fact that it's always evolving. After retiring as a National Athlete in 2018, I decided to stay in this fascinating sport and dedicate myself to working with children and upcoming gymnasts. My favourite part of working with young kids is that I get the joy from seeing them grow, get more confident, and celebrating their small victories.”
Being the founder of Origami Rhythmics, and having over 30 years of experience of working with children and young adults, I have learned that no two kids are the same. Every child is like a unique beam of sunlight that is ready to emit into the world. My job as an instructor is to help the kids succeed not only inside of the gym but help them discover their full potential in the real world as well. The reason we have founded Origami Rhythmics Gymnastics Club is for kids to have an equal opportunity to test their abilities and discover their talents while helping them emphasize on their strength. We provide an opportunity for the kids to learn new skills in a fun and engaging way. Music is a big part of our curriculum as it helps to set a very unique environment for every class and allows a child to better develop cognitive and motor skills. We also find that kids become excited whenever hearing music, as they get into the rhythm of every exercise. Step by step kids learn to take calculated risks, which allows them to adapt to more complicated movements. Rhythmic gymnastics is a unique sport as it combines elements of dance, theatre, circus and gymnastics. Once kids become more confident they start to transition into more advanced levels such us Performance and Competitive Rhythmic Gymnastics. The goal is to help every child reach their comfort level, and allow them to feel confident with their own body. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing kids laugh while they are having fun and enjoying every moment spent at the Origami gym. Kids really learn best whenever they’re happy!
